Trip to Toronto 2: The CN Tower (kinda)

 Windows just suggested me to play COD. No thanks.

As stated in my last blog post, I'm visiting Toronto to see my dad because he has work stuff to do. This ain't the first time this has had to happen.

Now I'm off the train and in a hotel with okay WiFi. I can write things on my blog just fine and upload pictures just fine. And not-so-resource-intensive websites work just fine. But when it comes to more advanced sites... eugh... not so much. A lot lot lot of problems with YouTube in specific. The max I can stream is YouTube Shorts at 360p. Yeah sure that's truly "Free high-speed internet". At the very least it... works.

That's all I have to say about the hotel. I went close to the CN tower at the very least! I didn't go in though because I was with my mom and my dad and for all of us to go in that would've costed $148 CAD. Yikes.

If you didn't know I'm a HUGE plushy collector and will go out of my way to get them. Whenever I go on trips I bring a plushy with me and it's pretty much always a monkey called Coconut. It's not sold at retail anymore so I'm extra cautious with it. But this time, I'm different. I spun a wheel containing every plushy I own and it landed on... Petey! It's a plushy I recently collected and it's a trash panda. I truly believe that bringing Petey for the ride was and is a lot more interesting than just bringing Coconut once again. And do not fear, my mom did make a joke about Coconut speaking telepathically telling me to bring Coconut instead of Petey.

Finally I wanna end this off with 2 things. 1. I just went to a restaurant! Top tier. 2. Lemme mention how I need to write these Trip to Toronto posts. I have to use my laptop to """""compute""""" when I can't use my desktop and my laptop's keyboard doesn't work. Thus I need to resort to the On-Screen Keyboard. This is a pain.

Recently my dad had to go to Toronto for work. I've decided to join him, because I miss him. Now I'm on the train. I'm lucky I have internet! But even with internet access, the ride has been kind of a mess. Tons of delays, to be specific. But I will get there... at about 10:50. PM. Yay.

I played some Solitaire and Minesweeper but not much else. Oh, and also, YouTube is blocked :/

Gotta go now.

You wake up in bed. It's 9AM! Well, good thing it's a Sunday, so you think you don't need to work... right?

You play some Minesweeper, then some 3D Space Cadet Pinball, then some Hover!, then some Geometry Dash (god when are they jumping ship from Fandom). You watch a tiny bit of YouTube and mess around on your PC. When all of the sudden, you see Thunderbird trying to tell you something. At 12PM, it's bean time. And you totally forgot.

In a rush, you open the Clock app present on Windows 10. You set up an alarm for 12PM and get everything ready for Bean Simulator 2-0.5's launch.

You're on a weird call with your cousin and you both agree to play Minecraft together soon.

My heart is beating fast, it's almost release time and I'm almost ready.

Today is August 10. You know what that means! Yup, that's right, tommorow is Bean Simulator 2-0.5! And I've actually been preparing for launch. You already know I have a gameplay trailer ready to go, as seen in Game Preview 6. Well the full trailer is coming out... tommorow! When the game comes out! Yipee, I know!

I can't wait to see what people think of the game. I find it fun, but it's VERY, V E R Y difficult. Mega Man 1 level stuff. But once you master it... yeah it's fun! It's short but hard. That's how I'll put it.

Bean Simulator 2-0.5 is a brutal platformer where, sometimes, the game gives you no mercy. It's hard, but fun. It entertains me whenever I'm bored! So much so that it's in my Start menu!

...better than our last game. I'll admit, the only review I've heard is: "was that a beanrooms multiplayer beta refrance" by a poorly-drawn red Pac-Man ghost which, honestly... what is "refrance" lol

Anyway. But I don't care that the game has 1 download (Which is a bad thing, I know that) because I'm making a sequel! It's not coming out today but it IS coming out. (Well it likely will be if my friends checked their Google Chat and their emails.) But whatever.

Bean Simulator 2-0.5 is a game where you play as B E A N . Who would've known. It's a platformer, so that's interesting, and I made it for A game jam. I'm not going to tell you WHICH game jam, just A game jam.* Either way, the game jam forced you to use GDevelop, one of my many enemies. It's slow, it's laggy. I'm not even putting a link. That's how terrible it is. Oh, and don't worry; I am working on an article describing ALL the problems this """""game engine""""" has. Oh, and they clearly botted the reviews on the Microtransactionsoft Store. Check this out.
