🇬🇧 ⬅ No one likes mass censorship

 Except clearly the King does.

Recently, the UK passed the Online Safety Act, requiring people to be age-verified to prevent kids from seeing 18+ stuff (we won't get into that, that's not the point). At 1st, it sounds great! Then you see how they do that... either algorithms figure out what age you're at and censor anything too old for you or... y'know... make you give them your SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER. Or your PASSPORT. Or your DRIVER'S LICENSE. Or your FACE. What the--

I'm here to let you know 1 thing:

THIS. SUCKS.

It's an absolute NIGHTMARE to privacy. What if a website gets leaked (which happens all the time)? Are you telling me the hackers can now use my social security number and pretend to be me? Oh, thank god I'm Canadian, so I don't have to worry about this! Oh wait, they can pretend to be me and travel to whatever country they want with my passport. And they can use my face for AI-generated videos to make me say "Trump and Putin rule!" when regular me would say "Trump and Putin suck!". Oh boy...

I used to TRUST the UK. They were one of the only English, slightly sane and European country there is. Now? That trust is GONE. I can't believe them on anything. And I obviously won't, 'till the British Revolution finally happens after 258 years of waiting, and the king will be forced to revert these changes at gunpoint by the British people holding an AK-47 in their right hand and green tea in the other.

As per the US? The moment Trump got elected, I decided this: if I was running a country, I'd play Trump's tariff game - by putting tariffs on the US. Then, I'd collect as many countries that despise Trump, then we'd all colloquially tariff the US. That actually sounds like a great idea. But this just irons it out that Trump is an absolute idiot (if it wasn't obvious before) and he is one of, if not the most incompetent presidents the US has ever had to face in its 249 years of existence.

To Trump and/or the king, if you are reading this: if you don't get rid of this act within 1 month (so, until August 31st), I will collect as many people as possible to keep fighting this off. Frigg you.

The error has been fixed.

It only took 498 days - that's a year, 4 months, a week and 4 days - though, in my opinion, I should have waited 2 days to make it 500 days :P

Now, the problem resides in my Minecraft skin. Observe the issue:

 Do you see it?

Yes, I see the problem!

No, I don't!

Amazing idea, tech companies.

So a long time ago I got myself a Razer headset. I don't remember which one but I can tell you it was not fun. Because... no matter what... it... NEVER... worked.

Many years later (now), I got the HyperX Cloud Mini for Christmas. It didn't work. Now what do you do when a piece of hardware on your PC doesn't work?

  1. You throw a fit about it.
  2. You return it.
  3. You install drivers.
  4. All of the above.

The answer would USUALLY be 3. You install drivers. However, for god knows why, HyperX didn't make drivers. Or at least, drivers that a human being could find. The sequencing was: 3 (attempted), followed by 1 followed by 2 forming 4. (No, 3+1+2 does NOT equal 4. It equals 6. I know.)

Then I got the Logitech Zone 300. I trusted Logitech more because they're the kinds of people that would actually make drivers, right?

Turns out, no.

For the dumbest reason why, LOGITECH didn't make drivers. God, I don't know why in particular. My best guess is is that these companies assumed everything works out of the box. Wouldn't it be a shame if this wasn't the toy industry but was rather the computing industry. Because any tech enthusiast would know this:

"Almost nothing is plug-and-play in the computer world."

Because they JUST HAD TO not make drivers. WHY. You HAVE developers - why else would the plug and play work without developers? They can probably learn how to MAKE drivers. THEY PROBABLY HAVE ACCESS TO THE CODE. Why can't they?! I thought tech companies knew what the word "driver" was! I even saw somebody talk about the HyperX Cloud Mini, saying that they were EXPLAINING TO THE SUPPORT LADY WHAT A DRIVER WAS JUST TO FIND THE DRIVERS FOR THIS THING, ONLY FOR THE LADY TO ESSENTIALLY SAY "You have encountered a problem no one else in this universe has seen or heard before.". You-hew? Anybody here watch Michael MJD? You'd know nothing works out of the box if you watched him! He had to manually configure display drivers FROM. SAFE. MODE. (clip up to 16:45). LISTEN, HERE'S A CRAZY IDEA.

HOW 'BOUT THAT, HUH?!?!?!

Say hello to Nobody and Friends!

This is a comic strip series I'm starting.

The comic strips star multiple characters, each one with a... sometimes different personality.

  • Xavier, who likes computers and uses his brain.
  • Liam, who plays lots of fantasy board games.
  • Anthony, who likes making videos.
  • Milo, who loves designing great video games.
  • Erik, whose voice is... creepy for some.
  • James, who likes making jokes geared more towards adults.
  • Dasein, who prefers more arrogant things than stupid kindergarten books teaching how to be nice.
  • Samuel, who dislikes following rules.
  • Athena, who really likes messing around.
  • Sam (#2), who likes playing video games.
  • Sam (#3), who likes playing mind tricks.
So yeah. Expect another comic strip tomorrow! Bye!!

DON'T SAY HIS NAME THREE TIMES...

 ...as they say.

I just came back from watching Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. It's the all-new Bee... oh shoot. Lucky I didn't say it three times.

...Just kidding that's fine because there's no mini-world in my room. It's fine.

The movie is fun, but more so towards the end. The beginning was slow and boring. So don't expect too much from that part. Apart from that, the writing is excellent and the scenes look amazing. Oh, and yes, I did see the first movie, but I don't remember it all too well. So yeah. Not much else to say, in my opinion. 10/10. Like A Minecraft Movie trailer.

The Minecraft Movie Trailer is here. It's...

 ...actually kind of funny.

I don't have too much time to write this, though. All I can say is, Creeper model good. The movie looks a bit weird but I believe at least 2 people will still like it. Me included.
